Category: Down on the Farm
June 1, 2013. John Hand, owner of Hand Melon Farm is pleased to announce their brand new website. The new site is designed to be easily navigate, and to showcase the many facets of the farm, including crops, retail locations, Pick Your Own crops, horse boarding, and firewood.
“Our new look is reminiscent of old fruit crate artwork, with a bright, cheerful, retro feeling,” says Hand. The farm is undergoing a complete identity makeover, including signs, business cards, produce cards, ads, and website.
The new website goes into detail about the farm’s history, sustainability practices, and individual crops. “Most people know us for our famous melons, but there is SO much more than that to the farm,” says Hand, “We plant over 140 varieties of crops, and offer Pick Your Own in several of the fields.”
The site was designed and implemented by Wurtmann Advertising, of Saratoga Springs. Beth Rowen served as designer, and commissioned the original artwork that is the centerpiece of the new Hand Melon Farm Identity.
